Types of insurance

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (abbreviated CDW) – this insurance limits the financial responsibility of the customer who rents a car in case of transport damage.

THEFT PROTECTION (abbreviated TP) – this insurance limits the liability of the customer in case the car was stolen.

THIRD PARTY LIABILITY INSURANCE (abbreviated TPL) – this insurance provides civil liability insurance, provides compensation for damage caused to unauthorized persons through the driver's fault.

Under the wording of "limitation of liability" it is worthwhile to understand that the tenant, at any rate, is financially responsible, but only within the established franchise.

A deductible is an amount that is not covered by insurance, which is blocked on the credit card. From this franchise will be deducted the amount in which the damage is assessed.

For example, if the deductible is 400 euros, then the insurance company will cover only the damage exceeding this amount.

The size of the deductible is set according to the type of insurance chosen, so it is important to find out exactly which of the possible insurances are offered to you and in which cases it operates. Damage to the windows, tires, headlights in normal insurance in most cases is not included, so the client will have to cover their damage independently.

In the event that the car has not received any damage during use – the franchise is completely unlocked.

Additional types of insurance

SUPER CDW – this insurance removes all liability from the tenant in case of damage to the car.

SUPER TP – this insurance removes all responsibility from the tenant in case of car theft.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI) – this insurance fully covers the damage received by the driver and passengers when using the vehicle or when landing / disembarking from it.
