Most rates can be canceled free of charge up to shortly before pick-up, and the deadline is written on the offer and in your confirmation email. Changing dates or times is usually possible too, though the price is recalculated at the rate available on the day you change it.
Can I add a child seat or a GPS?+
Child seats, boosters, navigation and extra insurance are added during booking or at the desk, and are charged per day. Reserving a child seat in advance is worth doing in school holidays, when branches genuinely run out.
What do I need to bring to the rental desk?+
A driving licence held for at least a year, a passport or identity card, the card the deposit will go on, and your booking reference. If your licence is not in the Latin alphabet, bring an International Driving Permit alongside it.
How does the fuel policy work?+
The common policy is full-to-full: you collect a full tank and bring it back full, paying only for what you used. Other policies exist and they are always named on the offer. Keep the receipt from the last fill-up, as some branches ask to see it.
