What is included in a car rental price?

How do you manage to offer such attractive prices?

We are the biggest agent for car rental companies owing to which we get special prices under corporate rates. These prices are offered to our customers.

Besides, there are frequent cases where rental companies are left with quite a large number of unrented vehicles. Idle time is not profitable for business, so it is much more practical to rent a car much cheaper than to allow it stay idle at the parking lot.

However, in view of legal competitive restrictions in effect in most countries, rental agencies cannot openly on their website offer prices below the established ones.

This is why we do not show the name of the car rental company until booking has been made. We do not violate any antimonopoly laws. In turn, you get rates, for example, from car rental company Sixt, significantly lower than the company could offer on its own website.

What are the driving license requirements?

Types of insurance

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (abbreviated CDW) – this insurance limits the financial liability of the person renting the car, which arises in the event of damage to the car.

THEFT PROTECTION (abbreviated TP) – this insurance limits the customer’s liability if the car was stolen.

THIRD PARTY LIABILITY INSURANCE (abbreviated TPL) – this insurance provides liability insurance and compensation for third party damages caused by the driver.

Limitation of liability should be understood to mean that the lessee, in any case, shall be financially liable, but only within the limits established by franchise.

Franchise

Franchise is the amount not covered by insurance. It is withheld from the credit card. The amount at which the damage is evaluated is deducted from this franchise.

For example, if the franchise is EUR 400, then the insurance company will cover only damages exceeding this amount.

A franchise is established based on the type of insurance chosen. Therefore, it is important to find out precisely which insurance best suits you and in which cases it is valid. In most cases, damage to windows, tires, and headlights are not covered under ordinary insurance.  Customers will have to cover the damage of such items by themselves.

If the car did not receive any damage during use, the franchise is completely released back to the credit card.

Additional types of insurance

SUPER CDW – this insurance removes all the liability from the lessee in the event of damage to the car.

SUPER TP – this insurance removes all the liability from the lessee in the event of theft.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI) – this insurance fully indemnifies the losses suffered by the driver and passengers when using the car or when entering/getting off from the car.

When booking, I chose a particular model, but another model was specified in the voucher. Why?

By international car rental rules, you can only book a car class and not a specific model. You can choose the model only at the local office of the car rental company on the day you visit. However, it should be noted that the retail price can be much higher than the prices listed on our website. Moreover, without prior booking, companies usually offer very small selection of models, not sold out in advance.
