Prague is an amazingly beautiful city, which you just have to visit at least once in your life. There are many sights that literally attract crowds of tourists. Of course, it is simply impossible to cover the whole range of Prague sights, to tell about all its interesting places in several articles. Charles IV - the most revered emperor of the Holy Roman Empire in the Czech Republic, the king of the Czech Republic, the king of Germany. It is quite natural that a monument to him is erected in Prague, next to the bridge named after him. In the Czech Republic, Karl is still remembered and loved. But at the same time, the Czechs are not averse to joking on this topic, showing tourists a monument to their beloved king from an unexpected angle.
Now to other sights of Prague. These include a pedestrian street with a traffic light - it is so narrow that two people simply cannot pass on it.
Another of the sights of Prague is Karolinum, a university complex founded by the same Charles IV in 1348. In 1620, the university was taken over by the Jesuits, who merged it with their university at Clementinum. The total height of the tower is 65 meters. Here are some more photos of the Powder Tower from different angles.
